Agentbeds sells exclusively wholesale accommodation to travel agents via the internet.

Agentbeds will assign a unique log-in to each travel agent. Travel Agent agrees that this log-in will be used only for the purposes of obtaining information on availability and prices for accommodation for their specific use and for their clients and that such information will not be disclosed to any third party.

Agentbeds reserves the right to accept or refuse admission of a Travel Agency to use their website reservation programme.

Agentbeds reserve the right to suspend or cancel the right of use of their bookings programme to a travel agent should it be deemed that said travel agent has breached this agreement. Any outstanding reservations at the time of suspension or cancellation will be honoured provided that all monies due against such bookings are paid in full a minimum of 14 days before the arrival date of said bookings. Failure to make payment as specified will result in the bookings being cancelled with the hotel.

The prices published on the Agentbeds website include local taxes (IGIC) in all cases. Where applicable travel agents working with a commissionable rate will see both the sales price to the public and the net rate which is the amount after their commission has been deducted. Agentbeds reserves the right to alter or vary the commission rate given to a Travel Agency at any time. The Travel Agency’s commission will be liable for a local sales (IGIC) which is currently 5% and which will be shown on the invoice from Agentbeds to the travel agent.

Agentbeds will facilitate Travel Agency with a hotel voucher at the time of booking provided the Travel Agency has a credit agreement with Agentbeds, should be payment be required at the time of booking Travel Agency will receive hotel voucher upon receipt of payment of reservation. The voucher should be stamped by the Travel Agency and presented to the hotel by the client upon arrival. It is the obligation of the Travel Agency to ensure that their clients are fully aware of any documentation, visas etc., that their client may need to travel to their selected destination as well as full and complete information on the hotel/apartments facilities, location and contact details.

Agentbeds reserves the right to increase the prices published only in the event that VAT is increased in the country of origin of the hotel and that the hotel is obligated by law to apply said increase to reservations made prior to the implementation of the increase. In such a case Agentbeds will inform the travel agency of any such increase.

Prices published on Agentbeds website are for accommodation only and where applicable extra services like bed & breakfast, half board, full board, all inclusive etc. The hotel or apartment establishment is entitled to charge extra fees for services such as safe usage, mini-bar, satellite TV, telephone calls etc. Agentbeds does not take responsibilities for any charges imposed by the hotel/apartments for services that in error have omitted from the resort information sheet.

Some apartment complexes may charge a refundable security deposit for breakages with must be paid by the client on arrival at the resort. Agentbeds will do its utmost to publish such information in the resort information sheet; however, Agentbeds does not accept responsibility for its omission given that the fee mentioned is requested as a security deposit only and is not an additional charge.

In the event that a lodging is unable to assign the travel agency client an accommodation in their hotel/apartments due to overbooking the hotel/apartments have the right to assign the clients to another hotel/apartments as long as the alternative accommodation is of the same standard or a superior standard and that the hotel/apartments agree to cover costs for the booked alternative accommodation on the same board basis as well as any travel costs related to transporting clients to said alternative accommodation.

In the event that the hotel/apartments change their name during any given period this will not be construed as a change in the clients booking.

If for any reason the travel agents’ clients wish to make a complaint about the booked accommodation they must do so directly to the hotel/apartments during their stay and must be recorded as such. In the event that the clients do not lodge an official complaint with the hotel during their stay then Agentbeds accepts no responsibility for any claim that may be made against the Travel Agency with regards to the accommodation. In any case Agentbeds will be responsible only up to the full accommodation amount paid by the Travel Agency to Agentbeds. Any claims over and above that sum must be brought against the hotel/apartments.

The categories assigned to each establishment on the Agentbeds website has been facilitated by the establishment directly and Agentbeds does not accept any responsibility with regards to the fluctuation in standards and hotel/apartments grading between different destinations, or to the clients interpretation of the quality of said hotel/apartments.

Cancellations and no shows may generate a charge from the hotel/apartments booked. Each establishment has their own rules about cancellations/no shows and their associated charges. In the event that a client of a Travel Agency needs to make a cancellation less than 7 days before arrival or does not travel due to unforeseen circumstances the Travel Agency should contact Agentbeds immediately to confirm what, if any, cancellation charges may apply. Agentbeds will always endeavour to minimise any possible cost to the Travel Agency.

All reservations confirmed through the Agentbeds website by the Travel Agency must be strictly pre-paid unless a separate agreement has been agreed between the Travel Agency and Agentbeds. Reservations made more than 16 days prior to arrival - payment will become due 14 days before arrival, for bookings made between 8-15 days prior to arrival – payment to be made within 48 hours of making the booking and for reservations made between 2-7 days before arrival payment will be required within 24 hours after making the booking. Failure to make payment within the specified period may result in the booking being cancelled.

Force Majeure – Agentbeds does not accept responsibility or offer any compensation should the accommodation booked need to be cancelled or changed due to war, riot, industrial or civil dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, airline failure, fire or any other unforeseen circumstances that may amount to Force Majeure and that is deemed beyond our direct control.

By using and making a reservation through the Agentbeds website the Travel Agency agrees to these terms and conditions in full. Agentbeds will make every effort to resolve any problems or complaints lodged by the Travel Agency’s’ client, however, in the event of legal action being taken with regards to any accommodation reserved through the Agentbeds website both parties agree to be governed by the courts and tribunals of Tenerife, Spain.
